Entry Permit Requirements

It is mandatory to have a PASSPORT which is valid with 6
months duration prior to travel & a valid VISA.

As per recent notification issued by Ministry of Home
Affairs, the RAP requirement for foreign nationals / PIO /
OCI card holders (except for those from the countries
mentioned separately below) has been relaxed. Such visitors will no longer require RAP to visit the 29 designated
inhabited islands in Andaman & Nicobar. No RAP forms are required to be filled henceforth on arrival at Port Blair airport, but the Immigration Officials will continue to
conduct check of the Passport and Visa of the visitor.

Citizens of Afghanistan, China and Pakistan, and persons with origins in these countries regardless of current
citizenship, will however still require prior permission from MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) to enter the islands, as will citizens of Myanmar who wish to visit Middle or North
The Andaman Islands. Visitors from the above-mentioned
excluded countries of citizenship or ancestry who arrive in the Andaman Islands without written permission from MHA will be deported back to mainland India.

The following 11 uninhabited islands have been added to the existing 29 islands that can be visited without RAP.

These are Ross, Brother, Sister, Jolly Buoy, Red Skin, North
& South Cinque, Rutland, Huge Ross, John Lawrence, Henry Lawrence and Inglis Island.

Separate approvals of the competent authority would
continue to be required for visiting Reserved Forests,
Wildlife Sanctuaries, areas housing Defence personnel,
Para-military and other protected areas in the island.

If any foreign national of above stated excluded categories (Nationals of or with origins in Afghanistan, China,
Pakistan, Myanmar) arrives without obtaining prior approval at Port Blair would be sent back by the same flight by
concerned airlines on instruction from Foreigners Regional Registration Office, Port Blair.

Kindly note this is a Government related requirement and we will not take any liability in case guest has to return back from airport due to non-compliance of the government rules and regulations. Our normal cancellation policy will apply for all bookings
After deplaning, foreign guests should walk into the arrival hall, where the immigration counters are located (these
counters are just ahead of arrival hall gate and before the baggage conveyers). The entry formalities can be completed here and it is mandatory, not to be missed.

Indian Passport Holders: Resident Indian nationals only
require proof of identification such as Aadhaar Card, Drivers Licence etc. (passport is not mandatory) to visit the
Andaman Islands. Please note that PAN Card is no longer an accepted identification card for registration formalities at hotels.

Only those Bangladeshi nationals who are serving/retired personnel of Military/semi-military, police/semi-police, security and/or intelligence organization are required to seek prior permission from MHA before visiting Andaman &
Nicobar Islands.
